S E E K E E L E E

I know I'm crazy. I went all the way to McD just to get one of the minions from Despicable Me. Haha so super cute and it's very very cheap!! RM 3 only!! It can giggle when it's shaken up and down!! Ahhhh what a good buy!

Ok so apart from the minion I bought today, I just realised I have like this crazy compulsive behaviour when it comes to stickers. And this shop called Mr. DIY sells like super cheap and very pretty stickers! I bought 2 ONLY but mom scolded me.

See! Nice or not, YOU TELL ME! These two only for RM 4.80!!!

Haha waste money but I know for sure it will be of good use one.. So.... I decided to stick on my phone. Okay this one looks very girlish. I try to be as 'yeng' (sophisticated) as possible already... But I failed. Cannot resist these glittery pinkish stickers!! My phone looks like a typical girl's phone now. :/ But I LIKE!! Sorry ah, people who don't like girly stuff! :D Here's how my phone looks like:

Can't really see how pretty the heart shaped sticker is rite? Nevermind, it's purple and glittered and has a smaller white heart shape at the side. SOOO NICE!!

I call this phase of my life now the fifth phase (finally an adult oh no!). Primary school being PHASE ONE, secondary school, diploma, degree and NOW.

My status: UNEMPLOYED. How it sucks to be called unemployed??!! So I finished my Degree already.  Still waiting for results from my last sem. Before this I wanted to go somewhere far (away from Penang). Like really experience LIFE before I start going into the working world because I'm just TOO NOT READY TO WORK.  Wanted to do social work, help people out-community work. So I told my parents to give me a month to do that before they start nagging me to look for a job. A month plus had passed. I did not do any community work or whatsoever. DO YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL??!! I feel useless okay!! Yea I did ask God (HIM) what should I do.. But I don't seem to get the answer. Nevertheless, going through this one month+, I felt ready-er than before!

I started applying jobs online 3 weeks back, went for a few interviews and now still waiting for their reply. I really wanna do something that I love. But somehow, all the jobs that I applied for did not really fit into what I wanna do. When people ask me what I wanna become, I really don't know how to explain and it sucks. It's not like "I wanna be a manager or a doctor or a teacher or a lawyer" NOOOO I don't know what do people call what I wanna do!! I want to write, but not be a writer I want to write fun stuff like what I'm doing now. I want to travel. I want to explore the world and everything in it. And then write about it. Food, lifestyle, fashion, brands-these things are what I want to write about. So yes, I don't know how I call this person. >:(

Early morning yesterday, I was talking to HIM, asking HIM to like open doors for me to this kinda jobs. I didn't even like beg or what, it was just a very casual convo. Later that evening, my college friend ask if I was keen to be the Content Manager for this new company that he has been working in. And I'm like WHAT ON EARTH IS A CONTENT MANAGER??? Haha! Ok so basically, my job requires me to WRITE. OHHH MY GOSH. WRITE!!! And I don't have to write like formal stuff, I just need to write creatively and it's all like fun stuff. For example, 'What's IN in Penang?' these stuff! OMG. I was very excited. Still am. So I sent my resume and now praying for the best. I really want this. I wanna do what I love. And I don't wanna drag myself to work everyday. I wanna look forward to work! YEAH! SO people, wait for the good news. I know my good God will not fail me. And if I don't get this job, it's okay. Means I have something better waiting for me lah!

peace.

HELLO!!! Welcoming myself back to my own blog!!! Heheh. So every Wednesday (their off day), my parents always hope that I'll cook dinner. Coz I used to LOVE cooking for the family until I got super duper lazy lately. Since they've been so persistent, I agreed to cook tonight's dinner! I'm making pizza! Yeah!!

With zero knowledge on how to make the pizza sauce, I bought ingredients (by guessing) and come home to Google recipes. So yeah I picked one I liked from YouTube and followed the recipe... Veryy scared it won't turn out tasting like pizza coz I don't have fresh herbs like oregano and basil leaves. But whatever! Never try, never know!

So I'm making Hawaiian pizza; chicken and beef. I cooked the chicken and beef separately, both with garlic and onion, of course I have already marinated them. And I also put pineapple cubes if not then the pizza won't be Hawaiian. So here are some pictures!!

(The ingredients)
(Assembled everything on the Pita Bread)
(Into the oven)
(This picture so nice must enlarge a bit!)

Verdict: Looks greatttt! But tastes super oriental.. Like some Chinese pizza! :( Nevertheless, I'm proud that at least it looks good and alsooo mummy and daddy loved it! YAYYYY!!!

I just read an article on a recent snatch theft/attack (not sure what to call it since nothing was snatched) case. A mother died while trying to protect her daughter. My tears flowed as I read what the girl has to say. She witnessed the whole event and she couldn't do anything but watch her mum go. I start to imagine if the same thing happened to me. I just can't. And I figured out that we, ladies, have to be strong, inside out. Emotionally, mentally and physically. I am so saddened now. I can barely do anything. I want to be tougher and if this happens to me, I want  to be able to fight back. And if anything like that ever happens, I want to be able to withstand the trauma. My condolences to this family. :(

Heard it on the radio and got me thinking. Would I choose moolah or integrity? Most people who responded said they would rather lose the money. Because the most important thing is that you like what you're doing. And that your conscience is clear. So I haven't been put into a situation like this before but I choose integrity. Because I recently watched Jane By Design, an American tv series, which taught me something. You can play dirty but you won't last. And it's not all about positions and money. I'll be working in a few months, and I'm telling myself and reminding myself every single day to be true to myself and to choose integrity. This post will remind me, I hope!Till then.. Tata!! :)

So, I just came home. It's 11:30PM now. And I came home to washed and folded clothes and it's all nicely placed in my room! Tell me about it! I don't ever do my own laundry. That's nice but sad... I know... I'm old enough to take care of this. Ahhh but that's the 'joy' part of staying with parents! So I just came to realise that I'm living a life that's too easy. Everything's always prepared and done for me. Car license, road tax, college fees, clothes, food, shampoo. EVERYTHING. I finally feel useless. Or more to say, SPOILED. I am (going to be) TWENTY THREE (in 4 months)! And I have not felt independent for once. :( I WANT TO BE INDEPENDENT so badly I can't breathe now. This just got me thinking AGAIN whether to leave this place for a few months, just to explore life outside of this nice, pretty, world of mine. SHOULD I??!!! Ah, anyways, I thank God for such wonderful family and for such a blessed life I have here. I wouldn't ask for more. Really. :)

SLAP ME. PINCH ME. PUNCH ME. KICK ME. WHAT?? OH MY GOOOODNESS! I went for the Israel Houghton concert yesterday in Kuala Lumpur. I cannot believe my eyes. He was so 'REAL' to me! I've always wanted to go to a concert. This was my first. It happened! I was at the front row. Literally 5 meters away from him. When he walked out my heart skipped a few beats. That moment was incredible. It was indescribable. The music, the songs, the band, the lighting. ALL WAS FANTASTIC!! I really could not have asked for more. But thinking of how excited I am talking about a mere human being, how much more excited could I be when I see someone who's not just a man, but my Savior, my Redeemer, my Friend, my God? I want to see You, Lord. Open my eyes. And I thank God for bringing them here. I thank God for inspiring me through them and I thank God that He made it possible for me to be there. So here's some amazing pictures I took last night, enjoy!

The long wait before the magic happened...

The moment he stepped out.

Doing one of his creative solos.

Notice the bassist behind? The CUTEST bassist everrrr!

Although the songs he sang were the same as the other concerts he did, it was still very
powerful and not boring at all! Not forgetting the back-up singers who sang incredibly well too!

My God is mighty to save.

A beautiful moment that night when we sung "shine Your light and let the whole world see..."
while shining our flash lights.

IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY I PAID.

*Super happy with the picture quality!! Don't know what happened to my phone suddenly so thumbs up*
