S E E K E E L E E

Hello hello!! Finally finally FIINALLLYYY!!! I have some time for MYSELF!! Yes. Sometimes it's good to be self-ish. I've been sooo busy I dunno why. Like I never have time to actually sit down and stare at space and dream like how I always used to. Okay so I actually came out from my rented apartment to McD to use the wifi and was sooooo excited about having a big (ger) screen to look at (cuz I was using my phone a lot and the screen is wayyy too small). Alright I'll cut the crap and get to my main post- G R A D U A T I O N.
SO obviously it has been like what? 3 weeks since my convocation? Haha so yea finally get to experience somewhat a really boring graduation. My parents, grandpapa and BFF got to go into the hall with me and watch me go on stage and receive ma scroll (actually it was a board). The whole thing took maybe 2-3 hours. Can you imagine how dreadful it was??!! It only took me  seconds to walk across the stage, receive my board, let the dean flip the strings on my mortar board, look at the cameras, smile and then walk down. I pity my family. HAHAHA they had to watch the ENTIRE thing. Well okay, let me tell you something you might not know about me. All my life. I repeat. ALL MY LIFE. I always seemed to get into really silly and (most of the time) funny accidents. Accidents where most people would tell you NO ONE HAS EVER DONE THEM BEFORE and here you go, Sheryn does it. She's CAPABLE of anything. Hahaha. Yes. That's why I'm special the way I am. Thanks! So yes, during the convo, everyone receives a small slip which has our full name on it and we are supposed to HANG ON to that slip and guard it with our lives because that's the slip you pass to the announcer to announce your beautiful name when you walk to get the "scroll". IT IS IMPORTANT I must stress again. So I, as usual, was being very smart and decided to squeeze that tiny slip between my ring just because I was too "lazy" to carry it like it was 100000 TONS. And I actually felt quite smart that time. So we got into the hall, hear a few people blab how good our Universities are. And finally it was time for us to line up and go on stage. And guess what? I couldn't find the name slip. I panicked like I dunno what. I didn't know what to do and I actually felt like it's the end of me. I couldn't move around much cuz I wasn't supposed to AT ALL! I looked all over and I still couldn't find. Then I thank God for giving me such a creative brain! HAHAHAHA Everyone's seat was placed a booklet of the agenda of that ceremony and all the graduants name are printed on the last page. I found my name Sheryn Ng Sue Wern at that point I realised how beautiful my name is. OHMYGOODNESS!! Of course I tore my name out and the font was maybe 2X smaller than the original slip. BUT WHO CARES????? I got my name and I'm good to go!!! Phewww!! So just to let you know, I made the announcer giggled. HAHA. I bring joy to people's life. Yes I do! :D So at least I had a memorable convocation. Be jealous, all you who had boring ones! So after that we were supposed to take a group picture of maybe 200-300 people and it took FOREVER. I was so eager to see who was there to see me. So after a good 30 minutes of standing and getting into position, we were finally released! Everyone rushed to the stairs to get to the ground floor where I, the creative one, went into the bubble lift and went down. My friends spotted me in the lift and they were waving and shouting my name I felt like a STAR! Super pity them also cuz they waited for almost 2 hours for me. But it was really nice of them to go all the way just too see me run here and there like a mad person. Hehe. But a midst all that, I really wished my close friends (those from primary and high school) were there. It will be awesome if they were there too... Okay I don't wanna get emo now. It's a joyous occasion, come on! Above everything, I wanna thank God for bringing me this far. I thank God for even letting me graduate. I really wouldn't have done it without Him. Degree was so horrible. I literally struggled through that 2 years. I didn't really understood what I was studying cuz I had no basic. And POOOOF! Now I have the cert. Thank you Lord!! And secondly, I thank my parents... (haha excuse me a bit if you think I won the Grammy's). My parents were a great support! They still let me do a lot of outside activities even though I needed to study. And they were really supportive throughout. Ahh, I think I'm done now. Too many words for you and me. So are you ready for some pics of me??? YES I KNOW YOU ARE DYING TO SEE EM! LET THE SHOW BEGIN....

First off, here are the people whom I spent my 2 years with. Friendships built will never go to waste...
Introducing.... Leader of the pack, Chan.

 And the Assistant, Cheah.
 And the minion, Jesmine.

And another minion, Jon.

And a another minion, Imin.

Sorry for the blur pic, we were so excited to graduated we forgot to bring our camera. Hence, phone quality.
Secondly, my friends and family...

This is ma BFF, Serene.. If you've read my previous posts you'd know how big a part she plays in my life.

Here's Serene with my family, representing my sister who wasn't there...

Grandpapa, daddy and mommy.

And... Here are the ones who came. People whom I hold closely to my little heart. :') Was so glad they came.

Another shot cuz this one looks so happy! I like!

Didn't expect to receive any gifts but here are some, which, I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Here's me being a retard in a not so retard uniform. Haha On my way to throw my mortar board...

Wheeeee!!!! This was my THIRD time throwing cuz I'm kewl like that haha!

and so... I have finally GRADUATED!!! YAY!!!

Finally. Yes! Finally!! After a long SIXTEEN years of (I wouldn't say books) education and learning, I, SHERYN NG, am graduating!! Woo hoo!! Never knew I'd get so hyped up about graduation day. I almost decided not to go. OMG. How can, rite??? So yea, made the right choice and also thanks to my parents' $$$! Went for the rehearsal earlier today and I dunno who was giving the speech but this person said something that is kinda true. There are only 3 most important days in a person's life;

1. Wedding Day 2. Birth of first baby 3. GRADUATION!!

My convocation is tomorrow and I'm suppperrr excited!! I even think of what nail colour to put on. Haha I'm vain like dat. So I went shopping alone earlier this morning and bought myself a (needed) white top, (a not so needed) necklace and ring, and a pair of black heels. I love H&M! Such last minute shopping and I still find the perfect stuffs.

I like this one! But too bad there's no collar...

Haha just had to be a retard.
Bought this at RM39! Original price was RM59.90 hehe good deal, no?

So yeah. I haven't been blogging for a long time now and I think I've kinda lost touch a bit. Hehe. I am boring myself now. So I guess I'd better not bore you too!  I'll be blogging about tomorrow soon. Stay tuned and here's a sneak peak of how I might look like tomorrow. Hehe more pictures to come! Till then, tata!!

*excuse my messy room*
*love my heels?*

Goooodbye!!!
*can't wait for tomorrow*
CHEERS!!!

Hello! It's been two weeks of work for me and I'm lovin' it! These 2 weeks had been really really busy for me. I never get to go home after work. And if I do go home, I get stuck in massive massive traffic jam. Which sucks. I never knew I'd be affected but yes, I am now. So for the past few weeks I've been considering moving to somewhere near my work place which is about an hour's drive from home. And finally found a place that is quite nice and suits my budget! So yes, I am moving in VERY soon. Talking about moving out from home. I actually never really got the time to sit down and feel whatever emotions la. But now that it is so near. I FEEL IT. Yes I do. I'm quite sad la apart from being excited. Like many people will def ask why would I wanna move out... I live in a small island... bla bla bla.. EH HELLO. I'm saving so much of petrol and saving the environment okay. And I also think it's time I moved out and experience life. Not like I will go party and all but just to be independent. So those who have so many many questions can stop now. I explain here de. And don't laugh at me please. I have reasons one okay. And coincidentally the government decided to increase petrol price. So yea, that adds to my reason. SAVE MONEY!! So yea now's 1:30 AM and I cannot sleep cuz I'm packing some of my stuff for moving and finally having some time to digest the fact that I'm moving. Big girls do cry. And I think I'm gonna cry (which I hope I won't). Cuz I dunno la maybe I'm a bit too dramatic. Haha! It's a mixed feeling la. Good and bad. I dunno. Praying that I will grow in this experience. To me, moving out, even I'm still in the island is a big thing ok. So please understand me. I've been pampered for far too long already, TIME TO GROW UP !!! And I hope I'd be able to blog more! Byeeee *Maybe my next blog will be about my survival* Wait for it!! :D

Working life, I say hello! Today's my first day at work. Woke up early this morning cuz I was really excited for it! It took me an hour plus to get there and I reached 30 minutes early! Ahhhh I hope, really really hope that I will be early every morning! Hope with me ya? ;) So I completely didn't know what to expect before I went. And finally was introduced to my colleagues and my job scope. Few of them are really nice people! But what my job requires of me, ...... it was just too much to absorb in a day. I probably need 10 brains. Really not what I'm good at. But I take this opportunity to learn. We can never stop learning. And I thank God that going to work will be a challenge for me everyday (the waking up, the travelling, the things I needda do) cuz only then will I acknowledge that He is God and I'm not so I HAVE to rely on Him DAILY. I also want to look at these difficulties as opportunities. Like just now, when I was driving I get to spend ONE HOUR just communicating with Him. Isn't that like a super great opportunity??!! HAHA wait for the next thing I'm gonna say to you....... I ATE FOR FREE AT HARD ROCK CAFE!!! YEAHHH! Sometimes things that you think will never happen to you will just happen and you needa thank the One above! So I'm really grateful with whatever that's happening in my life right now. Whether good times or bad I will choose to look at the brighter side and be thankful! Cuz thankful people are always happy people. And during the weekend my church celebrated its 48th anniversary and we had Pr. Kenneth Chin from Acts Church to speak. The theme was 'How Great Is Our God' and so he shared many things la but I highlight this statement: Our God is great in whatever situation, whatever circumstances, He remains GREAT.

This is Pr Kenneth and his wife, Pr Sandra :)

Will soon buy those pretty and rocking looking badges to furnish my landyard! :D

So yeah! I'm done here and I've gotta study for tomorrow. So tata people! Hope you're encouraged! See ya! :)

So if you've been following my posts, I was on a social media fast since 6th August and I break fast TODAY!! Praise God! And it's also by His grace that I was able to withstand not visiting Facebook and Instagram for so many days! Many many things happened in the last 19 days and they were all good stuff.  So many I am too lazy to list them down. Hehe so since my birthday month, so I shall tell you stories. Ohh before that! I got a second piercing at the top of my ear. It was PAINFUL. I don't recommend that. Okay now you enjoy my stories ya...

I am officially 23 now! I dunno why I super glamour cuz I get to celebrate more than once. So I had like birthdays 3 times this year, with family and friends. Every year I just can't be thankful enough. I mean who gets birthday surprises every single year for birthdays?? ME. So this year's surprise was really simple but I was already filled with soooo much gladness.. This time I had 4 Germans with a lot more other friends to spend my birthday with me. T'was a simple yet meaningful one. This year, although not so much drama compared to last year, still I enjoyed their company. And looking back, I take birthdays very seriously like if no one surprises me I'd be really sad but funny thing is, I still literally get surprised even though I kinda expected it to happen. Haha I'm just kewl like that. So really nothing much to say but just wanna express my gratitude and thankfulness that I'm brought to this earth and found by God and surrounded by people who loves me for who I am... I am very very very filled with so much love right now I can't contain!! Unfortunately didn't take any pictures :/ I had a really huge yummy cheese cake which I only had a piece. Sharing is caring.. Haha and my new German friends got me a piece of really yummy choc cake in a really cute box. And I had them sing the German version of birthday song which was super cute right at 12AM in MAMAK!! Me and my friends were like O.O ??!!! Hahaha little things like this always make me feel so so so so loved and happy... :D (written on 21st August 2013)

And the third celebration this year was a BAMMMM!!! I totally enjoyed the company and food! 9 of us were at Morganfields so we had quite a lot of pork! Let me show you with pictures...

This is called the Carnivore platter. I shared this with another two girls. Yeah just look at the amount of food!!! *faints* But it was really gooood!

And this is the first birthday cake I bought for myself! Haha It may sound pathetic to some but I believe in blessing others too! Since people always get cakes for me. HHAAHAHA

Must check my ever-hard-to-handle fringe before I could take a decent pic. :D

ERM HI! This is me pretending to cut the cake. I usually get so excited  I don't know how to cut. :D

So smelly still can smile. hahhaha
And so, my BFF decided to push my beautiful face on the not so beautiful cake!!! I almost died smelling the cream. It was all over!!!!

Candid!
So here they are, wonderful beautiful souls!! :) Thank YOU again, guys!! Me love youuuu!!

Okay so if you celebrate your birthday in Morganfields, you are entitled to get a 1 Year Free Ribs card when you spend RM 300 on a single receipt. And we were almost there! When the receipt came, it was RM 284. AHHHH and so they decided to share a glass of Somersby and so I got the card!!! Woohoooo!!

Who wants? You can start making your reservations with me already! HAHA

I photo-bombed Yi Lin!

 <3

Just look at the apron, not my nose please thank you. And no, in God I trust, not pork. :D

Okay that's all folks! Hope you enjoyed my birthday stories as much as I enjoyed my birthday!!

Here's just a random post, the next day, very last minute plan we decided to go to the beach. I had so much fun. The sea was clear and it was just so relaxing. The only down side was we got burnt. Actually the sun wasn't THATT hot... We didn't really feel the burn but when we got back, all four had sun-burnt face. And it hurts like MADDDDDDD!!! It's crazy! But I guess it was all worth it! :D Here are some pics:

See I'm making friends with Rashid! Hahaha

Yayyyyy!!!! fun sun sun fun !!! :D

Okay this time really no more other random stuff de... Tomorrow's gonna be my first day working!!! I'm excited!!! Are you?? HAhahhah no no don't need to be.. Byeeeee!!!

(3rd August 2013)
Just when I said I needed to go on an outdoor-and-no-malls trip with my bestie(Serene) in the afternoon, we made it happen at night! We were supposed to just hang out and have dinner somewhere in the island but we ended up driving all the way to the mainland for Tambun Seafood! Haha it was really really exciting for me lo.. Like an adventure you know??? And I used to be very much more adventurous than now. Sad hoh. Okay so we we took about an hour to reach cuz we were also looking for an ATM machine. Haha need $$$ leh if not how to eat ho liao (good food)? So we arrived and looked around, every table has minimum like 4 people. And we were the only 2 girls. HAHAHA. So we sat and ordered. and ordered. and ordered. Came up to 6 dishes. WHOA!??!! Serious not? Ya la!! SIX. We were scared we cannot finish but lo and behold, the plates were squeky clean! And while we were eating, I realised that the table beside us were staring at us as if never see people eat. Please okay. It is really rude to stare (FOR SO LONG) !! Okay so after we ate we were just chatting away and laughing and all then I think we attracted much attention and we thought maybe they think we're lesbo or something. Cuz Serene was removing some stuff from my hair and I was feeding her mantis prawn eggs ahahhahhaha!! Okay, so here are some pictures before I bore you out.

The famous Penang Bridge (that leads us to the restaurant)
So here we are at Gee Seng Seafood. Sorry for the blurred picture. Too hungry and excited. Heee
Boiled baby octopus with fried garlic (SOOOO GOOD)
Oyster omelette (yikes blur picture again..)
 Kam Heong kappa (clam)
Fried mee teow. Yumm!
Best satay I've tasted so far (in 22 years)
Sometimes when you eat, you save the best for last. So here I am, saving the best for last in placing the pictures. HAHAHA My ALL TIME FAV! Baked mantis prawn.
Here's all our food that night.
Anddd 30 minutes laterrr.....

Okay that's about all. Remember I said I wanted to introduce my BFF here? Okay, this girl ah has been my bff since like when we were only 11 (I think) and yes there were ups and downs throughout this friendship but I'm glad and thankful that we're still standing strong HAHAH!! When you read quotes about a friend that will stand with you through thick and thin. Many people don't believe it. But I do. Because I experience it. Serene has been here for me literally through thick and thin (my body size also count hor?) HAHA! And I could never ask for more. Say until I also wanna cry de. So ya la. That's a very summarized introduction but it's all from my beautiful big heart okay!! Praying that this friendship will last. Serene, till death do us part! HEHE!
Nah, a picture for you to enjoy our greedy face!

So okay, back to the seafood, we really enjoyed ourselves cuz great food + great friend of course great time la! And also, to let you know the food we had only cost us RM59.40 (including drinks) VERY VERY CHEAP ALREADY!! On the way back we drove passed auto city, being super hong so (don't wanna go home), we stopped by for tutti fruiti. had quite amazing frozen yogurt. I enjoyed this one so much more because we didn't put toppings hehe should have done that before.

And after that we continued our journey home. It took us 4 hours to and fro. Not bad rite? I love last minute plans like this!

Okay so that was what happened last Saturday.

Today:

I have decided to fast social media from 6-25th August 2013. My church launched prayer and fasting for its 48th Anniversary. So I chose social media because it will be harder than fasting food. Seriously. I don't think I could go a day without Facebook/Instagram. So this is and will be a super hard challenge for myself. But with the help of my Father I know I can do it. And also, I will be starting work on the 26th August de. So everyone, goodbye!! I'll be back after 19 days!!! See y'all!!

With much love,
Sheryn
