After watching this video, it makes me think about those days where I would spend hours and hours watching videos of these really talented people doing covers of songs (and get super envious and wanna be there with them). And I would make covers too! Cuz they're just very very inspiring. And I would pick up my guitar, spend HOURS learning up songs so I can record myself but unfortunately, I don't have those super good software and devices that I can use to record good quality covers and HAHAHA I'm not THAT good also la.. So all my videos and covers usually end up in the Recycle Bin or in some folders on my computer. And as months (maybe years) passed I think I just gave up, my guitar became a part of my room deco. So after watching this, they remind me to pick up my guitar again and do what I love doing and I will improve! :D I've been following them since Day One. And they never stop inspiring me! Now you enjoy!
All you Penang lang! As y'all know, Gurney Paragon had its soft launch on Tuesday, 23rd July 2013 when I was still happily playing in Genting. Haha so I went just now with my parents. So besides the very pretty stores that was there, one place attracted my attention most was Sam's Groceria (grocery store la) OMGsh most of the food stuff in there are imported like from sooo many places. My eyes went O.O. Literally. Haha ya like some 'sua pa kao'. This place sells so many types of chocolates I dunno why and they aren't very expensive as I thought they would be. And besides chocolates, one more thing that attracted me most is JUICES. GOSH. So many types of juices I've never seen before! And I think it's illegal to snap pictures in stores. But I did it.. Just to show how cool this place is!! Okay, enough of talking... Let them pictures talk!
CHOCOLATES
Chocolates, chocolates everywhere!! Even mummy also super amazed cuz she loves chocs. :)
JUICE
(I only took pics of one brand cuz among all, they interest me most)
RM 11.70 per bottle of 220ml
Pretty right?? Haha ok I'm definitely going back there again when I can afford my own juice! Toodles! Good night people!! :)

Hello world! So I just came back last night (Tuesday) from one of the most fun trip I've been to since 2005. Haha. I've always loved theme parks and especially those that have super thrilling rides. So yup, besides Sunway Lagoon in KL, another nice theme park we have in Malaysia is Genting Highlands somewhere Pahang. You can find out more about this place from the link. See I'm being so nice for sharing haha! Okay, I was super excited for this trip cuz I really needed to just forget the world (my world) a bit. So yea, took a 6-hour bus ride from Penang at 8:20AM and reached Genting at 2PM. Checked in to First World Hotel to find out that the room is quite big. I expected it to be very very very small.. So yea, went for the indoor theme park which costs RM 32. We played 2 types of roller coasters, Bumper car (which was so so so much fun), watched a 4D movie (The Haunted Mine) and sat on the Reindeer ride (probably10km/h). We repeatedly sat on the roller coasters and bumper cars to make every cent of 32 bucks worth! Haha Yes, the indoor theme park was supposed to be like a warm up session for the next day! Okay enough of me talking, I'll show you some pics!
After breakfast, I met an auntie. She wanted to sell us cheaper tix for the theme park. So why not? We bought the tix at cheaper price cuz she's a tour guide. :D
So this is how half of my room looks like.. Really, not bad at all for the price. (RM78/night)
In time to snap 2 selfies before going to the Indoor themepark. :D
Went over to the other room... Look what's going on! Somebody's excited!
Sorry for the blur shot; roller coaster started moving already ahhh!! Excited!
A girl being a girl... Snap snap snap even when the roller coaster was already moving! HAHA nothing can stop meeee!!
Yay to the third/fourth ride!!
See, nothing can stop us from taking pictures! Hahaha
Inside the 4D cinema watching The Haunted Mine. So lame the show.
And here are our Bumper Car pictures! I really enjoy playing this so much more compared to when I was younger. Maybe because it's fun to knock people like crazy without getting into trouble. :D
Yay to my super excited face -.-
The rest of us:
After dinner at Burger King:
Eeek!
One of us wanted to go to the casino but I didn't want to and also another was underage haha. So never mind, we take picture of the casino.. :)
When we were back in the room, so tired d, cannot snap our faces so we snapped our wrists instead! HAHA
Okay so after this, we bathed and everything, it was still very early, like maybe 9-ish? So we went to the other room to play cards instead of going out again. We played, laughed and everything till about 11++ and went back to our own room. My roomie slept earlier cuz I just couldn't.. Then few minutes after I fell asleep at maybe 12-ish. Here comes my creepy dream... I dreamed that there were ghosts like appearing right in front of me. I was sooooo scared I woke up. Thinking it was already 6AM, and I had a horrible headache. So I took aspirins and checked the time, it was ONLY 3AM!! GOD HELLLLLP!! I was still very much in fear. But I prayed and prayed like mad and finally felt peaceful again so I went back to sleep. UGHHH! Stupid nightmares! My advice to people staying over in hotels is to pray before you enter the room or before you sleep. THIS IS GOOD ADVICE okay! Okay we woke up at around 7++, got ready, all set and packed up. Outdoor theme park, here we come!
Please excuse my dunno what nonsense face! Haha not enough sleep!
Had breakfast and paid RM 7 for this milk tea served in a Styrofoam cup! ISH.
So here we are at the outdoor theme park. Had sooooo much fun!!!
Yay!! For a sec, it didn't feel like Malaysia!!
We actually took a lot of rides but couldn't take picture cuz I didn't bring my phone and also was too engrossed with the thrill... Not to mention DIZZINESS!!! :/ So after playing like maybe 10 rides or so, we got super tired! And HUNGRY! So we decided to have lunch and after that we needed to head to the bus station by 4PM. It was 2:30 when we left the park. Went for a eat-all-you-can steamboat and bbq at a price of RM 35 each in Hot Pot.. Very very cheap place to eat in Genting. :D
Here are a few photos of the food. Too hungry to snap more already!!
After lunch, we say bye bye to Genting!! The bus was surprisingly very comfy, clean, pretty but the driver drove a little bit too fast! >:( Got so worried the whole time!
Goodbye, Genting Highlands.... We had a great time!! See you soon!
So we came to find out that this place will be closed for TWO years for refurbishment and upgrading works starting September 2013. So thankful that we went before they are closed. :) See you soon, Genting!!!

It's 1:15AM now and I just finished watching a Hindi movie, 3 Idiots (2009) which is 2:44 HOURS long!!! OMGsh! I know I'm like outdated okay. Whatever. Every minute was worth it!! Super good Hindi movie since Khabi Khushi Khabi Gham (2001). This movie speaks so much about what I'm going through OMGsh it's unbelievable. Actually a few of my friends asked me to watch (because it was funny) but I refused to watch. See! I believe in timing! It probably won't mean so much to me if I watched it then. And I like it not because it has funny scenes okay.. Here's what I got from the movie (ONE of the many):
Go after your PASSION, not what/who the world or society or your family wants you to be.
Besides being relatable to my life, I find that the story line carries so much truth! Like how schools always implement those "systems" and make learners believe that success is only measured by grades and how "smart" you are. WRONG!!! Getting good grades in school doesn't necessarily make you successful when you grow up!! Need I explain more? Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, many more didn't do well in school! But I say this with moderation okay. Not like I'm asking everyone to fail school but what I'm saying is, school, grades, education is not EVERYTHING. Really. Okay back to my emo-ness! Cried so much throughout the entire movie and the most important thing I look for in a movie- HAPPY ENDING!!
Ahhhh what a good ending of the day for me too... :)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this show! (The movie has English subtitles! I cannot understand Hindi one)
Here's a few sneak peak of the movie:

So these are the THREE IDIOTS (Inspiring Idiots I would say)
The one in red, I adore most. :3
Here's the HAPPY ENDING!! I'm not gonna show what is it just in case you wanna watch it, this won't be a spoiler! :D
Okay, besides watching the oh-so-super-awesome movie, I did something very very unexpected tonight. I patched up (with thread and needle) my sister's pants! HAHAHA! Ok. Most of you would probably think why so pity, just go get new one. But hey, this pair is unlike any other! EXTINCT already! Cannot find anywhere else! It has 5 holes altogether. Hahaha say also embarrassed. I love it so much. And I'm going to the try out gym tomorrow so must must must wear comfy sports attire right? I have never sewed anything real before-like this pair of pants. The last time I (tried to) sew was in high school which is 6 years ago. HAHAHA. And I always cannot sew properly. I know I'm not that girl-ish afterall. Hehe. SO I'll show you this super-supreme pants that I would never wanna throw away even though it's not mine........
............. let me shake off my embarrassment first.............
.........................
.......
......
.....
There....
I know it doesn't look like some fancy fancy pair but so what?! Haha as long as I like it :D
Okay! That's all for today! Time for me to ZZzzzz. Good night, world! :)

Another week had passed. SO FAST! And I remain jobless. So my final semester result was out few days back. This time, checking result wasn't that nerve wrecking as it used to be. Haha I don't know why. This time everyone scored quite badly, including myself. But I am actually very thankful I did not fail (never before okay!) because the final sem was a KILLER sem for me. So yeah.... HAPPYYYY.... Just wanna share something in my heart. I am actually a bit sad that I'm jobless and I have nothing to do. God showed up so many times at first then after all the interviews, everything seems so quiet and mundane. And I ask Him constantly why did You surprise me? Why did you make me put so much hope? Then *snap* I realised how impatient I am, how I can lose hope so quickly, how I expect everything to be so instant. HMMM. So brought myself back up, and I told Him I will still trust him and have my hope in Him. And thennnn just now in church, a lady whom I don't really know came to me and said "God will lead you to the right job and you will be such a blessing!" OHMAMAMIA! Her words..... Were so affirming... I almost teared. I was speechless (very seldom I speechless ok). Yeah. Was really encouraged today. Hehe.
Okay next part, I'm just gonna post pictures of last week during Georgetown Festival 2013 (my friend finally whatsapped me those pictures cuz my phone died) A few only lah just to show off a bit hehe!
Okay I don't really remember what is this called, MAI KA/MIANG KAM/MAI KAP HAHAH! It's a Thai delicacy. Looks gross but very very yummy!
This was our stall close-up look!
And lastly Thai laksa! SO YUMMMZ! Thai food never fails! NEVER.

Oh my gosh. I just saw a picture posted on Facebook where people queue up the long lines just to get those toy minions in McD. And they bring trolleys to fetch them!! Yes I admit these minions, they're EXTREMELY cute but these toys are meant (mostly) for children aren't they? Adults just need to exploit them. :( News are spreading that people buy them cheap at McD outlets (because they only cost RM 3 per toy) to sell them at higher prices. THIS IS CRAZY. I mean Penang people, WHAT HAVE YOU BECOME?! :( Now I wonder their intention of buying. I somehow feel this is really crazy hence this post. Here's the crazy picture of people bringing trolleys to buy the Happy Meals:
I don't know la I just don't find this pleasing to the eyes and soul!! GRRR! And I'm pretty sure most of them who went crazy to get the toys were just joining the fun. ISH. Forgive me if you think I'm judging too much. But this is really UNACCEPTABLE. Okthanksbye.

Hello!! Hahaha so today I went out with my parents for breakfast and then went grocery shopping. We bought 4 packets of 3 in 1 coffee of different brands HAHAHA yes, we're addicts. After that on the way home we passed this canopy that sells durians, rambutans, mangosteens and langsat. And my dad made a super sudden turn and we ended up feasting on those fruits. HAHA I didn't know I'd enjoy durians so much cos I really hated the smell. But I guess the hate is OVER now!! And it's been ages since I had mangosteen!! AHHH so satisfied!! :)
Seeeeeee ahhh juicy!!
This one is funny. My mom. She ate the second piece and couldn't take it anymore she started puking HAHAHA
Here are my parents.. :D

Dinner last night was a little too expensive. Went with bff. SHE PAID!! Yayyy!! I've always wanted to eat at this cafe coz it looks very very cozy and really nice. So last night I picked this place, didn't know how much was the pricing. When I opened the menu I'm like :O oh no. Haha. But anyways we stayed and ordered their traditional Tapas set for 2. The set has Spanish omelette, mushroom in garlic sauce, meatballs, calamari rings, baguette and sundried tomatoes. Sounds good huh? All that for RM 75. And I had coffee, thinking it'll be good but nehhhh :( And the food tasted so-so maybe it was too herb-ish for our taste buds so we didn't really enjoy.. Okay so here's how the food looks like:

I spent almost 5 hours just cleaning and rearranging my room just now! Boy does my room look pretty now! :) Didn't realise I have SOOOO MUCH junks stored in this room! Haha but they're 90% cleared off! Sorry, I won't be showing how my room looks like coz it's really personal and I'm not ready to show it publicly yet hehe (notice: YET). So satisfied with the outcome and I didn't even have my dinner and it's 12:40AM now! I'm super sleepy already!! Goodnight!! :)

It's been so long since I had super busy weekends.. I love it!
Friday was quite an eventful day.. I went for a drink with my girl friends and we had a really good time! I think that was like one of the best conversations I had since I don't know when! Haha! We talked about mostly church stuff but IT WASN'T BORING OK! But we only had like 2 hours cuz I gotta run. The funniest thing that happened was, we ordered green tea latte (1 hot & 1 cold) and when it came it tasted like green tea POWDER. Really. So we asked the waiter to change and guess what? He had to change it THREE times before it really tastes like green tea latte (but still nahhh :/). I guess we are too used to the good GTL from Starbucks. Goood job, Starbucks! You made us green tea latte expert! :) So yeah that was the highlight and we made friends with the waiters too!! So here's a picture of us at the cafe:
After dinner, as I said, we planned to watch a movie so we picked The Lone Ranger! YAY for Johnny Depp! Woooots!! Love his acting! Ta daaaaa (his name was Tonto in this movie) and and and before we entered the cinema, I had extra time to do this:

And right after that, I had to rush off for dinner with my cell members. (did I mention before I am a Cell Leader in church?) So this week, our activity was to just have dinner and catch a movie together.
It was really hard to get nice(bright) lighting in this cozy-comfy cafe (The Cruises Steak House). These are the people I lead.. And a few more missing in the picture. I love them all!! :)
After dinner, as I said, we planned to watch a movie so we picked The Lone Ranger! YAY for Johnny Depp! Woooots!! Love his acting! Ta daaaaa (his name was Tonto in this movie) and and and before we entered the cinema, I had extra time to do this:
I'm a monsterrrrrrrr! Rarrrrrr!!!!!
Two of my favourite characters in the movie. Tonto and the white horse. :D The horse is such a BEAUTY!
Next day, I woke up about 9 and ran some errands for Georgetown Festival 2013. I was there to sell art pieces, paper wallets and handmade robots from nuts and plugs. The whole day was super draining and tiring because of the HOT SUN!!! But I enjoyed the festival anyway. Spent more than 12 hours out from home! Ughh. I will show pictures below so you can see what I did there. But my phone died halfway so didn't get the chance to snap more photos.
Here are a few:
Finally we took picture with the famous giant cat
One of my crazy ideas to promote what I was selling! Haha. Didn't really work out though.
Finally, I did henna for RM 10. Everyone says it's overpriced but aiya I did it in a festival so I expect things to be a little more expensive.. Nevermind!
So this was our stall! Spot them robots!! :D
That's all for Saturday! So Sunday (today) we went back to sell the remaining stuff. And I also found out that I appeared in the Star newspaper! HAHA I'm a coward I still dare not look at the picture... So that's all folks! Good night!! See you again! :)
